become-a-sponsor

We encourage your organization to participate as a Sponsor for the 27th Annual Southwest Florida Water Resources Conference. The Conference Committee is pleased to announce that this year’s conference will be held at the Pelican Preserve Magnolia Room, Fort Myers, FL on February 2, 2018.

This year’s theme, “The Changing Climate of Regulation and Funding”, recognizes the dramatic political transformations that have occurred in recent years at both the state and national level. Shifts in governance philosophy translate to changes in policies and budget priorities. Similarly, regulatory and enforcement rollbacks change the constraints and incentives faced by both the public and private sectors. At the same time as government changes are occurring, so are consumer demands and legal accountability. As always, we have arranged for presentations by some of the leading experts in water resources, government policy, and funding programs. The roster of speakers will include some of the top decision-makers responsible for water resource planning and management in Florida. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. Sessions will conclude around 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by a networking reception. The full technical program and other details will be available at www.SWFWRC.org.

We recognize your organization’s position as a leader in the field of water resources with a prominent presence in Southwest Florida. We urge you to extend that leadership by assisting the Conference Committee in making this conference possible and affordable for the attendees, a substantial portion of which are students in water resources and related fields. For 27 years, the Southwest Florida Water Resources Conference has provided outstanding opportunities to share cutting-edge technical information, exchange views from a wide range of diverse perspectives, and engage the community of water resources expertise in our region.

The Conference consistently draws in excess of 100 attendees who will represent a broad section of scientists, engineers, geologists, ecologists, agronomists, jurists, and other professionals involved in both the public and private sectors. There are several Sponsorship opportunities each of which provides a respective level of benefit and recognition commensurate with the level of support. We encourage you to consider supporting this year’s Conference and publicly acknowledging your leadership in advancing the issues related to Water Resources in our area.

Please note that certain Sponsorship levels include one or two Conference registrations and/or a display booth. If you wish to sponsor at those levels or would prefer to just have an exhibit, please be sure to complete and return the attached Sponsor & Exhibitor Form with your response. To ensure your contribution is recognized in this year’s conference materials and displays please return the form by January 22, 2018. Exhibit space is limited, please return your completed form as soon as possible to reserve a table at the conference. Email your company logo to jwadas@johnsoneng.com.
